My photographic works are made from a single diligently crafted photograph. And that photograph then becomes the conceptual foundation of that work in its evolution and its interpretative possibilties.
Artists I have known are typically obsessionists and I am no different, certainly in that sense. The ideas wandering the nether corners of my mind and soul are of seclusion, symmetry and it’s relation to the physical world, the finite and that of an imaginary reality that is a profoundly potent fuel to our real world lives.
All of these ideas and more apply and contextualise this work of mine, made in the desolate landscape of Moss Landing, California back in twenty sixteen.
